Questions
Questions worth asking before you decide.
See how the service, the software, the commercial model and the support work. Ask what you need. Decide for yourself.
- No hard sell
- No drip campaign
- No obligation
Start here
Start with what this actually is.
It is both. The software is the delivery backbone, but you are not being handed an empty platform and expected to invent the service around it. The succession methodology, the client journey, the meeting structure, the practice workflow, the supporting materials, the training and the launch support are designed to work together.
Your practice adapts the commercial offer and leads the client relationship. The platform helps your team deliver consistently without rebuilding the process case by case.
Practice enablement
Activation, training, go-to-market support and practical help through the first cases.
Delivery software
Family record, meetings, evidence, pathways, actions, plan and adviser-controlled AI.
Complete service model
Positioning, scope, succession methodology, client journey and professional hand-offs.
Getting started
Could our practice actually deliver this?
That is precisely what the service, the software and the enablement are designed to make possible. Your team is not expected to become succession service designers before speaking to a client.
Confirm fit
Review the practice, the client opportunity, how you want to deliver it and your regional position.
Configure the service
Adapt the offer, the roles, the scope, the branding and the platform setup.
Train the team
The family journey, the software, the professional boundaries and how hand-offs work.
Start the first case
Practical support until the team can run the process confidently.
Prepare to offer the service in days, without spending months designing it from scratch.
That is what the service model, the software and the enablement are for. Your team is not expected to become succession service designers before speaking to a client.
You bring the professional judgement and the relationship. The method decides what happens next, the platform holds the case together, and we stay involved through the first engagements rather than handing over a login and leaving.
Days rather than months, depending on the practice. Access to the platform is quick, and a responsible launch is more than access: confirming fit, configuring the offer and the roles, training the team, and being ready for a first case.
We will give you a realistic timeline for your practice at the discovery session rather than a number that suits us.
No. It is the situation the service was built for, whether you have never touched succession planning or have been handling parts of it informally for years.
Each meeting has clear objectives and open questions to work through. The platform structures what is said as you go, so you are following a conversation rather than filling in forms, and you are not deciding what comes next on your own.
Most advisers already have suitable families in their client base. The harder part is recognising which ones, and knowing how to raise it.
We provide guidance, conversation openers and materials for that first approach. What we will not do is promise you demand. Families take their time over succession, and some will not be ready when you raise it.
Training covers the family journey, the software, the professional boundaries and how hand-offs to other specialists work. It can run online or in person, depending on what suits your team.
Support continues past activation and through your first engagements, which is the point at which most questions actually arise.
If your team can use a web browser, they can use this. The platform is broken into stages, so you see what is relevant to where you are rather than the whole system at once.
Most of the work in an engagement is having a conversation with a family, not operating software.
Commercial questions
A commercial model your practice can evaluate.
Suitable existing families, a defined engagement, client fees your practice sets, the actual Succession Navigator cost and any follow-on work scoped separately.
Model it with your own client book and fees. No call required.
Quite possibly. The families who need this tend to be ones a practice already acts for: ownership approaching a transition, a next generation with an unclear position, and nothing formal written down.
That is worth checking against your own book rather than taking on trust. The Opportunity Calculator lets you model it with your own numbers.
Yes. Your practice decides how it prices the client engagement. We provide the service structure and can discuss commercial considerations, and you retain control of your client pricing.
Practice plans start from $150 plus GST per month. Pricing is structured per practice rather than one size fits all, and the detail for your practice is confirmed when it is set up.
We cover it early in the discovery session. You will get the current position rather than a range that moves later.
Terms are set when your practice is configured, and they are scaled to where the practice is starting from. We would rather agree something that fits how you work than publish a standard term that does not.
Ask on the call and you will get the current position in writing.
Succession Navigator intends to limit how many launch practices it accepts in each defined region, so that partner practices are not competing with each other on the same offer in the same market.
The operating rules for that are still being finalised, so we are not publishing a map or a count of places. We will tell you plainly where your area stands when we speak.
A large book is not a requirement. A succession engagement is a substantial piece of advisory work in its own right, and a small number of them can be worth doing.
Whether it is worth it for your practice depends on your fees, your capacity and how many suitable families you actually have, which is exactly what the calculator is for.
Delivering the service
Choose how involved your practice wants to be.
Deliver it
Your trained team leads the engagement using the method, the platform and the professional controls.
Co-deliver it
Your practice leads the relationship while Succession Navigator supports delivery through the agreed first-case model.
Refer it
A referral route may be available where your practice does not want to deliver the engagement itself. Client and commercial terms are confirmed first.
Yes, within their competence and scope of practice. The process is structured and the platform guides the person running it, so a trained colleague can facilitate engagements while a senior adviser keeps oversight through the console.
That is a delegation decision your practice makes, not one the software makes for you. Nothing here authorises anyone to do professional work they are not qualified or permitted to do.
A referral route may be available where a practice does not want to deliver the engagement itself. It is a legitimate choice rather than a lesser one.
The client relationship and the commercial terms have to be confirmed before that is agreed, so it is a conversation rather than a published arrangement.
Complexity is the normal case rather than the exception. Blended families, multiple properties, off-farm children and long-standing informal arrangements all turn up regularly.
The method adapts as the conversation goes rather than pushing every family through the same script, while keeping the record structured enough that the detail is still there months later.
The platform does not resolve family disagreement, and it does not try to. That is a matter for the people involved and for your judgement as their adviser.
What it does is record differing accounts plainly and attribute them, so a disagreement surfaces early and in writing rather than after documents have been drafted. Parents stay in control of the decisions throughout.
We stay involved through the first engagements rather than stopping at activation. That covers the practical questions that only appear once a real family is in front of you.
How closely we work alongside your team is agreed up front, so it is clear who is doing what before the first meeting.
The software and the AI
The adviser remains in control.
The family conversation stays human. The software keeps the case connected, while AI can help structure information, identify gaps and prepare matters for adviser review.
It does not make family decisions, it does not provide professional advice, and it does not turn a suggestion into an approved record without the required human control.
You have a conversation with the family. The AI works on what is said: structuring it into a case record, suggesting a next question, and marking where something has been assumed rather than confirmed.
Where a particular family member's view is needed, it can prepare questions for that person to answer through their own scoped access. Their answers come back into the same case record.
No. It does not speak to your client for you, it does not make family decisions, and it does not turn a suggestion into an approved record without an adviser accepting it.
It drafts, structures and flags. You remain the person the family deals with and the person accountable for the advice.
It will not give professional advice, decide between family members, or present generated wording as a definitive professional opinion. Guardrails exist specifically to stop that.
It is also not a substitute for checking. Treat what it produces as prepared material for your review, which is how it is designed to be used.
At the centre
Adviser judgement and the client relationship
Natural conversation
The family talks. Nobody fills in a form.
Structured case
What is said becomes a connected record with its source attached.
Questions and gaps
Assumptions and missing input are raised rather than quietly filled in.
Human review
Nothing enters the record as approved until an adviser accepts it.
Each of these supports the adviser and the structured service. None of them replaces either.
Trust, data and professional responsibility
Important questions deserve specific answers.
You should not have to wait for a call to learn the basic security position. Here is where things actually stand, and where the platform stops and your practice begins.
Infrastructure
Sydney-based hosting
Application service, managed database and private file storage all sit in the Sydney region.
Privileged access
Two-factor authentication, at a stated scope
Active on the Platform Administrator scope today, and available as an organisation policy for covered privileged roles.
Application access
Scoped by practice and client
Organisation, then assignment, then client. Enforced on the server rather than hidden in the interface.
Professional use
The adviser retains responsibility
The platform keeps a traceable record. It does not make a practice compliant or replace professional judgement.
Read the full security and data explanation
The current environment runs in DigitalOcean's Sydney region: the application service, the managed database and private file storage.
Access is scoped at three levels. A practice only sees its own organisation, staff only see the clients they are assigned to, and a family member only sees what is relevant to them. Every request is validated against the specific client and practice on the server rather than hidden in the interface.
Authenticator-app two-factor authentication is active for the production-test Platform Administrator scope, which is the narrowest and most privileged group.
Organisation policies can also require two-factor authentication for covered Practice Administrator and Adviser accounts when a practice deliberately enables it. Universal two-factor authentication across all users is not in place today, and the Security page says so rather than leaving you to assume otherwise.
No, and any platform that tells you otherwise is overreaching. Compliance rests with your practice.
What the platform gives you is a clear, structured and traceable record: an audit history, permissions enforced throughout, and case information that stays connected to the statement or document it came from. That supports professional work. It does not replace professional judgement.
It means the discovery session is a conversation, not a close. We talk about your practice, show you the capability and the support behind it, and answer what you ask. If it fits, we can talk about a next step. If it does not, that is a fine outcome and the conversation ends there.
Booking a session or asking for information is not consent to a marketing campaign. If you want us to follow up, say so and we will. Otherwise the next move is yours.
A genuine conversation
See everything. Decide for yourself.
We are happy to give you our time, talk honestly about your practice, show you how the capability works and answer what you need to make an informed decision. If it fits, we can talk about the next step. If it does not, that is completely fine.
What we will give you
- A genuine conversation about your practice and your farming clients
- A look at the product wherever seeing it helps
- Straight answers on pricing, support, AI and security
- The practical information you ask us for
What we will not do
- Use a high-pressure close
- Add you to a drip-marketing campaign
- Call repeatedly to chase a decision
- Invent a deadline or a hidden obligation
Booking a session or asking for information is not permission for an automated sales campaign. If you want us to follow up, tell us. Otherwise the decision is yours.
